Player Career Development

The MyPlayers Player Development Programme is designed to individually support, guide and assist players in their personal and professional development. It provides players with the opportunity to fulfil their potential and successfully make the transition to a new career following retirement from the game.

Roles:

  • Assists with career advice
  • Performs Career assessments
  • Individual consultations and one-on-one feedback sessions based on above results
  • Recommend courses and institutions to study at
  • Life/soft skills, Drink IQ and basic financial skills modules;
  • EXIT programme and planning on retiring from rugby assistance (e.g., Drafting a CV, internship opportunities)
  • Mentoring sessions with senior/retired players (e.g., advice, motivation, succession planning)

Player Career Development division also provides the following basic skills to players:
